Drilling pipe manipulator
(Technology)
The present invention relates to a drilling pipe manipulator, and more particularly to a manipulator for facilitating the handling of the drilling pipe when connecting and dismantling the drilling pipe in the drilling operation.
(Background)
In the operation of drilling oil or gas from the basement of the sea floor, as the progress of the drilling, the drilling pipe of a predetermined length is elevated by using the drilling derrick while the operation of connecting or disconnecting the drilling pipes to each other is repeatedly performed. That is, when drilling, the drilling pipe should be continuously connected and after completion of drilling, the connected drilling pipe should be released.
The connection and dismantling of such drilling pipes has a significant impact on the work productivity, especially in the development of deep sea fields, which are excavated to a depth of more than 10,000 m, as they require the connection and dismantling of hundreds of drilling pipes.
The connection work of the drilling pipe is carried out by pulling up one end of the drilling pipe transferred from the reservoir of the drilling pipe to the crown block installed at the top of the drilling derrick and connecting the other end to the top of the other drilling pipes which have already been drilled. It is the work of connecting the screw parts, and the dismantling of the drilling pipe is the opposite of this connection work.
As described above, in connecting and dismantling the drilling pipe, the position of the drilling pipe, which is conventionally held up by the crown block, is manually adjusted. That is, as shown in FIG. 3, the operator 100 manually moves the drilling pipe 120 suspended from the crown block 110 to match the already drilled lower drilling pipe 130, and then connects or disassembles it. As the work was done, the conventional drilling pipe connection and dismantling work was very low in productivity.
Therefore, the present invention, when connecting and dismantling the drilling pipe in the drilling vessel, by grasping the drilling pipe suspended on the crown block and placing it on another drilling pipe already drilled and the work of dismantling the drilling pipe by mechanizing the The purpose is to increase the productivity of connecting and dismantling operations.

* Description of the symbols for the main parts of the drawings *

20: turning body 30: cancer
40: clamp 50: piston
The object of the present invention described above is a post fixedly installed on a drill floor adjacent to a door pool of a drilling line, a pivot body rotatably installed on the post, a flexible arm rotatably installed up and down on an upper end of the pivot body, the arm. It is achieved by a drilling pipe manipulator including a clamp installed at the distal end and holding a drilling pipe, and a piston connected between the pivot and the arm to adjust the vertical angle of the arm.
Hereinafter, a drilling pipe manipulator according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. The following embodiments are merely illustrative of the drilling pipe manipulator according to the invention and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention.
1 is a side view of a drilling pipe manipulator according to the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram of a drilling line drill floor showing the range of operation of a drilling pipe manipulator according to the present invention.
As shown in FIG. 1, the drilling pipe manipulator 1 according to the present invention basically includes a post 10, a pivot 20, an arm 30, a clamp 40, and a piston 50. It consists of a configuration that includes.
The post 10 is a support structure for fixing the manipulator 1 of the present invention to the drill floor 4 adjacent to the door pool 3 of the drilling line 2, the lower end of which is, for example, a bolt 11. It is fixed to the drill floor 4 by the upper end, the structure which can rotatably mount the said turning body 20, for example, the well-known ring gear (not shown) is formed.
The post 10 is pivotally mounted to the pivot 20 at least over the working radius of the arm 30, and is provided with a structure rotatable with respect to the post 10, for example, a swing gear. Roller circles, swing pinions, swing shafts, and the like are provided to control the rotation, the stop, and the rotation direction by a driving means such as a motor. Since the structure which rotates the turning body 20 with respect to the post 10 can apply a well-known turning drive apparatus as it is, the detailed description and the display on drawing are abbreviate | omitted. This pivot 20 is for rotating the arm 30 in the horizontal direction.
The retractable arm 30 is connected to the upper end of the revolving body 20 by a hinge 31 so as to be rotatable up and down. The expansion and contraction of the arm 30 may be based on the configuration of the arm itself with an arm cylinder, or may be separately mounted by using the piston 32 or a mixture of both. In addition, the stretching of the arm 30 may be configured to be made in a multi-step. The structure which rotates the arm 30 up and down is demonstrated later.
At the end of the arm 30, a clamp 40 for holding a drilling pipe is installed. The clamp 40 has a size corresponding to the thickness of the drilling pipe, and is configured to be opened and closed by hydraulic pressure. For example, as shown in Fig. 2, the clamp 40 is configured in a right angle shape, but the moving part 42 is a hydraulic mechanism with respect to the fixing part 41 mounted at the end of the arm 30. It is configured to be opened and closed by. In such a configuration, the pipe can be held by the clamp 40 by the operation of closing the moving part 42 while the moving part 42 is opened and the pipe is inserted into the fixing part 41.
The vertical angle adjustment of the arm 30 is made by the piston 50 rotatably connected between the pivoting body 20 and the arm 30. It is sufficient to install only one piston 50 to adjust the upper and lower angles of the arm 30, but in order to cope with the variation in the load applied to the arm 30, a large capacity piston (for example, 15 tons) and a small capacity piston are required. It is preferable to provide (for example, 10 tons) each.
The manipulator 1 described above is operated by a known hydraulic control mechanism including a known control lever, and an operation panel on which the control lever is installed is installed at an appropriate position of the drill floor.
The manipulator 1 of the above-described configuration is installed in the drill floor 4 adjacent to the door pool 3 as shown in FIG. 2, for example, with a rotation radius of 130 degrees and 4 depending on the working line of the drilling. It can be configured to allow arm extension of -10m and arm rotation up and down by 15 degrees.
Thus, when connecting the drilling pipe, after raising the upper end of the drilling pipe in the crown block, after adjusting the rotational position of the swinging body 20 of the manipulator 1, the length and the vertical angle of the arm 30, The bottom of the suspended drilling pipe is held by the clamp 40, centered on the pipe currently being drilled in the center of the door pool, and then the two pipes are connected by the operation of the top driver. In addition, when dismantling the drilling pipe, when transporting the drilling pipe dismantled from the crown block to the reservoir, the manipulator (1) while holding the lower end of the pipe is placed on the reservoir.
According to the present invention described above, the connection and dismantling of the drilling pipe carried out by manpower is performed by a manipulator having an arm that can be freely adjusted. This can be done.
